Poster Research Competition

The Poster Research Competition is for all final-year pharmacy/pharmaceutical students across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

Theme: Digital Transformation for the Nigerian Pharmaceutical Industry. 

Objective: To encourage Nigerian pharmacy and pharmaceutical students to explore the current trends, challenges, and opportunities for digital transformation in the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry.

Eligibility: All final-year pharmacy/pharmaceutical students from accredited Nigerian tertiary institutions can participate.

Entry fee: NGN 1,000.00 only. (LSN Entry 1026076183 UBA Bank)

Prize: 1st place- NGN 250,000.00, 2nd place- NGN 150,000.00, 3rd place- NGN 100,000.00

Deadline: July 31, 2023

Requirements:

1. A research article with relevant references (up to 1500 words) that outlines the current trends, challenges, opportunities and limitations for digital transformation in the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry.
2. Selected qualifying entries are subsequently invited to design and present a research poster in a 10-minute pre-recorded video summarizing the research article and a well-organized PowerPoint deck for a chance to win grand prizes.
3.  All participants must sign up with a profile on www.lifescience.ng to submit an entry. Participants must also be following @lifescience.ng and @repsorpharm on Instagram to qualify.
4. Please use “Full name initials + date/month of birth”. Eg: LSN30/12 as payment reference on the bank transfer.

Procedure:

1. The first step is the submission of a research article with relevant references. Only 1 submission per registered user profile on LSN is permitted. 
2. After the LSN Entry Committee review, qualifying research articles would be invited by email to design and submit a research poster.
3. Final shortlisted research posters would be invited to present their research posters in a 10-minute pre-recorded video and a well-organized PowerPoint deck, summarizing their research article.
4. Final winners are to be determined by a public voting system on the LSN community forum and the quality of the research poster.

Judging Criteria for qualifying research article and Poster:

• The quality of the research article and poster. 
• The clarity of the research article and poster.
• The originality of the research article and poster.
