ThankGod Ebenezer is a Nigerian bioinformatician and the founder of African BioGenome Project.

African BioGenome Project is a coordinated pan-African effort to but capacity (and infrastructure) to generate, analyze and deploy genomics data for the improvement and sustainable use of biodiversity and agriculture across Africa. The mission is to foster scientific collaborations and partnerships, provide the platform for innovations and policy change across Africa through biodiversity genomics.

He has contributed to several research articles and has proven experience and skill set in Data Science, Machine Learning, Biologically Inspired Artificial Intelligence (CNN, ANN and RNN), scientific entrepreneurship, science for international development and a host of other skill sets.

ThankGod Ebenezer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Parasitology and Entomology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State, Nigeria. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Management with Distinction from the University of Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD ) in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, England, United Kingdom.
