Dr. Pamela Ajayi is the founder of SYNLAB Nigeria, a pioneering internationally accredited (ISO 15189) clinical and medical laboratory in West Africa. She is also the President of the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria (HFN).
Dr. Pamela is a remarkable Nigerian physician, environmentalist, and entrepreneur who has made significant contributions to the healthcare industry and sustainable development in Nigeria.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She pursued postgraduate training as a British Council Chevening Scholar at St Thomas Hospital and Kings College Hospital, London, United Kingdom. Additionally, she has a Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology Medicine from the University of London. She completed the Chief Executive Programme (CEP) at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, and the Owner/President Management Programme (OPM) at Harvard Business School.
Because of her passion for public health awareness, she engages with the media as the Creator and Host of “Doctors on Air,” where she collaborates with healthcare experts to disseminate critical information to the public.
She serves on numerous boards and committees and has received numerous awards in the medical and banking sectors. She is also an active member of several professional bodies in Nigeria, including the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria (HFN), Society for Quality Health in Nigeria (SQHN), Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), Medical Women Association of Nigeria (MWAN), Guild of Medical Directors (GMD), Association of General Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN), and the Health Writers Association of Nigeria.
