Olumayowa Andrew is an exceptional food technologist, researcher, and food developer with a fervent dedication to food safety, microbiology, sustainability, nutrition, and the creation of locally available and affordable diets to combat nutritional diseases.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, graduating with first-class honours. Additionally, she was a Commonwealth Shared Scholar in the United Kingdom, specializing in future food sustainability at Cranfield University.

In her role as a food developer, Olumayowa leverages both established and innovative knowledge and technologies to create novel food products.

Olumayowa has been a speaker at numerous events and has published several research works.

Her focus research areas are in Nutrition, Food Safety (Mycotoxins), Sensory Science, Product Development, and Food Sustainability. She’s an advocate of Healthy Sustainable life and Zero food waste and love to explore new technologies and innovations.
