Dr Oladipo Elijah Kolawole (Ph. d) is the principal investigator/ founder of Helix Biogen Institute, Nigeria. He is a vaccine/ diagnostic kits developer, molecular epidemiologist and Bioinformatician.

Dr Oladipo Elijah Kolawole attained his B.Tech degree in Microbiology, followed by an M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology and Parasitology with a specialization in Virology, and a PhD in Microbiology with a focus on Medical Virology and Immunology, all from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria.
Currently, Dr Oladipo Elijah Kolawole is the Head of Department of the Department of Microbiology at Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, Nigeria. He is the team leader for the COVID-19 candidate vaccine that is on WHO draft landscape for all COVID-19 vaccine candidates. He also is recognized as an International Fellow of India Council of Medical Research/African Union-STRC and boasts a wealth of experience as a Chief Executive Officer in the research sector.
Dr Oladipo Elijah Kolawole has an impressive track record, having contributed 70 research articles to double-blind peer-reviewed national and international journals. He has also authored a book and presented 42 conference proceedings at both national and international gatherings, including conferences, symposiums, and workshops. With participation in 16 international events and 18 national ones, his commitment to the research field is evident.
He researches RNA viruses causing infectious diseases, studying transmission between species and using tools like molecular biology and bioinformatics to analyze host immune response, transmission dynamics, and genetic diversity of these viruses.
